When I was flyingthe other day, I tried out the 'direct to' function and it worked well. But, I thought it might be an improvement if instead of of just clicking 'select' and going straight to the route, I thought (especially if a bit turbulent)  it might be better for the first click to highlight the selection, so you can confirm it's the right choice, and the second click then selects it.  As you know it's easy in flight to hit the wrong button especially so for a smaller screen.

That's how it used to operate, but when we replaced the old UI with our own, we thought we could better make use of the available screen space with information on the airfields. We've made each item as big as we feel is possible to avoid finger trouble, but if people think they should be bigger still, we will of course listen.

Thanks for the reply Tim, sorry to be a nuisance but it wasn't exactly the size that I was referring to. I was thinking  more of a confirmation that you had selected the correct 'direct to' e.g. the first click highlights the selected airfield and the second click  loads the route and takes you back to the chart screen. My thinking behind it was that if you accidently press the wrong one, you might not immediately notice and then you have to start all over. I hope that makes sense.
